Short Bio:
Mr. Chengzhi Qin, engineer at the Sanya Oceanographic Institution, Ocean University of China. Mr. Qin is skilled in ocean surveying and ocean instruments maintenance. Since 2010, he has participated in 31 open ocean cruises, with accumulated 788 days over sea, including 334 days as a leader of the team at the scientific vessel. He is skilled at the deployment and recovery of subsurface moorings, as well as the operation and maintenance of various marine instruments and equipment. Mr. Qin accumulated a lot of experiences in cruise organization, coordination and implementation. He has authorized 10 national patents, including 5 national invention patents.
