Sanya Oceanographic Institution of the Ocean University of CHINA (SOI-OUC) is currently offering six postdoctoral positions in the laboratory of Dr. Zhenmin Bao, Tropical Marine Germplasm Resources and Breeding Engineering. This is a full-time position, and successful candidates will receive an attractive compensation package and research funding.

Candidate may have strong background in genetics and breeding, reproductive biology, marine biology or aquaculture. The position will focus on evaluation and utilization of tropical marine biological germplasm resources, and development of reproduction and breeding technology of tropical marine species. Research will be conducted in the laboratory or in the field. Alongside the research work, the applications will have opportunities to participate in teaching and other related social service activities. The position is supported by the Ocean University of China, and the initial appointment will be for three years, with the possibility of renewal for an additional one year.

The annual salary is within the range 300 thousands RMB, and up to 100 thousands RMB of performance bonus will be provided at the end of the year, depending on qualifications and experience. Accommodation and start-up funding for research can be provided by SOI-OUC.
